Drupal Developer

Full Armor Group is currently seeking a Drupal Developer in San Antonio, TX.


Job Description:

  • Building web-based applications using Drupal 7 and 8
  • Developing custom modules and themes
  • Testing and quality assurance of existing applications, modules and themes
  • Deploying, upgrading and maintaining applications using Pantheon and Aegir workflow strategies
  • Researching and developing project development strategies

Required Skills:

  • Experience working with content management systems such as Drupal or WordPress
  • Experience with web-based application development using PHP, ASP.net, Python, Node.js or Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to write HTML/CSS by hand
  • Solid understanding of procedural programming, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithmic efficiency, security and the LAMP stack
  • Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator or comparable layer-based graphic design software

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience developing Drupal modules or themes
  • AJAX development experience using jQuery or comparable libraries
  • Ability to work from a command-line (Linux/MacOS)
  • Experience with responsive, grid-based, theme development using Bootstrap or comparable framework
  • Experience using CSS-preprocessors such as LESS or Sass
  • Experience using git or other version control software


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or combined with related experience)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously
  • A willingness to always be learning

Full Armor provides support to US Navy's Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO)

Full Armor provides civilian contract facilitators in support of the US Navy’s Chaplain Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) at seven Navy installations. Full Armor facilitators cofacilitate weekend Marriage Enrichment, Family Enrichment and Personal Resilicency retreats. Additionally, they facilitate suicide prevent workshops such as ASIST and safeTALK along with other quality of life workshops and general military training and command briefs. Also, they are responsible for marketing the various programs to inform the installation population of the upcoming events and to enable optimum participation and awareness.

Full Armor Group, Inc, announced today it has received its HUB-Zone certification from the Small Business Administration. Full Armor has been supporting the Department of Defense for almost seven years as a participant in the 8(a) program, resulting in positive program performance for various US Army, Air Force, and Navy organizations. With this new certification, Full Armor can expand its offering to a new set of clients seeking HUB-zoned companies to provide professional and technical services. Over the past year, Full Armor executed several steps to increase its offering to their DoD clients and expand their business footprint.

Religious Facilitator Contract Award

Full Armor had been awarded the contract to expand the CREDO pastoral care programs in the Southeast Region which sustain the Fleet, enable the Fighter, and support families. CREDO is a Secretary of the Navy Flagship program. The scope of work focuses on assisting with the research and development, facilitation, testing and evaluation of CREDO programs.
